| On Tuesday 4th February, Prescot Conclave No. 291 celebrated its 50th Jubilee. | |

After due diligence that the Conclave had indeed been operating continuously from its consecration on the 23rd November 1974, Grand Imperial Conclave issued the Jubilee certificate which was then celebrated in fine style. |
| Attended by our Intendant General RIll Graham E. Williams, the evening started with the Installation of a new Knight Companion, Francis Lees, seen here with Graham, who also took part in the ceremony along with Divisional Marshal Raymond Pye. | |
| Once Frank was installed, Ill.Kt. Colin Rowling read the contents of the Grand Imperial Certificate and followed with an overview of the Conclave from its inception in 1974, basing his talk (after reading through 150+ sets of minutes!!!) on some of the 94 members who have shaped the Conclave, underlining that the name or number of a masonic entity should not be the sole reason for joining, but the nature and friendliness of its members. | |
| The consecration was headed by the Consecrating Sovereign, V.Ill.Kt. Arnold Moreton, Intendant-General of the Lancashire Division. The Consecrating Eusebius was V.Ill.Kt. James Edward Glover, a former APrGM in 1986, and the Divisional Viceroy, P.Kt. Alan Roy Malcolm, also a former APrGM in 1995. |  |
| There were 16 in the Consecrating team, 28 visitors including three IG’s and Deputy IG’s and 15 founders. Among those present were Knights from St George in Chorley No 42, Wythenshawe Hyde No 163, Trinity Oldham No 257 and Cestrian Wallasey No 154. | |

| Earlier in its Jubilee year, members of Prescot Conclave, along with the Intendant General presented a cheque from the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund for £2,000 for a Christmas lunch for unprivileged children in Liverpool and £500 specifically for sporting equipment for children in Prescot. | |
